FUCK ME is nothing sacred?
An updated version of “The Hardy Boys,” “The Hardy Men” would have these perpetual teenagers finally grown up, but up to their old tricks once more.
Anyone who truly knows me, I mean really knows me, knows that The Hardy Boys series was the most important document of my childhood. I own all 58 of the books (including The Detective Handbook, duh.) This skullfuck of a movie has Ben Stiller and Tom Cruise attached. Who the fuck are those guys anyway?
Only my closest friends know this, but for the last 4 years I have been attempting to develop a script treatment that will bring The Hardy Boys and their chums to a new generation! The final hurdle was to decide what direction I wanted to go with respect to the titular characters: the undeniable tandem of Topher Grace/Adam Brody vs. an Owen and Luke Wilson buddy picture.
Now what the fuck am I going to do with my life?
