I want to take a second to big up one of my favourite dudes in the city: Dustin Fishbook at The Belmont Barbershop. Maybe the nicest guy in the service industry, he’s a total professional, with an unbelievable attention to detail. Constantly hustling, he has a new retail venture opening in a few weeks (in the upstairs space next door to the barbershop.)
The old-timey aesthetic, taxidermy, and good vibes notwithstanding, the real reason I return each month is because dude knows how to cut hair, and always makes my shit look good.
