Max & Moritz - Galiano Island, BC
Here is a photo I just scooped from the internets of some total island folks lining up for what may be my favourite take out ever. This place has the best nasi goreng. I eat that ish every time I visit my aunt and uncle’s cabin. Best hangover food ever. Well they also make a sauce, and I just put it on the pizza I ate. So many complex layers of flavour packed into one delicious sauce. I’m not even a dipping sauce and pizza kind of guy, this just feels really real.
I’m up all night writing a paper on China and Global Climate Change Policy. I’ve got one more Barq’s, two cans of Coke, 8 slices of peperoni/mushroom and some of that tasty aforementioned Max and Morizzle sauce. I’m goin’ in..
