Dear Science,
I’ve been probably listening to this album once a week since it came out. It wasn’t until tonight that it truly became my jam of jams. I have a brand new appreciation for the production, after listening to it for what feels like the first time ever. Maybe the best, who knows? It should be said that I’m really blazed right now, so that may be playing a part in all of this....

Jerry and I were just discussing restaurants in the US of A. I was saying how I looked up the cheap eats in Portland beforehand and he asked if I had occasion to hit the cheesecake factory during my visit. I didn’t even think about it, but as I recall from the blogpost linked above, the nba loves the cheesecake factory. I can’t believe I missed my opportunity to fulfill all my hopes...

Man there is a bad smell in this hotel room. It’s not me, or my feet. I have no idea what smells like sulfur.
Today was pretty good. This city is just live Vanpoover, with smaller blocks and more americana. Bfast was nice but expensive. Shopping was nothing special, for a poor man.

Drive was okay. Took the 101 and saw some chilled vistas.
This hotel is silly. Pretty cuso, but hey it’s okay to treat yourself now and then.
Went to a french/cajun restaurant under the Morrison bridge tonight, pretty good. These goofballs told both the ihop waitress in the am and the dinner waitress that it was my birthday so I had to deal with a “mudpie” both day and night....
